Trilliums are interesting flowers. They appear in the spring for only a week or two, and seemingly out of nowhere bring shocking and beautiful spots of light to what is otherwise a drab green landscape.

All of these were taken at Tryon Creek State Natural Area in Lake Oswego, just outside of Portland. This is from one or two days I spent there, just out of curiosity to see the trilliums and get a few pictures.

Not an ongoing project really—just a day’s walk.
